Facing the Darkness from Within
This piece is a second attempt at the idea of the sphere being protected by four points only using a darker theme.
My eyes are used inside the sphere and outside in the background to represent myself and my shadow.
Everyone has a shadow.
The only real thing that we have to fear and conquer in our lives is our own Shadows. Sometimes we protect our own shadows so much to the point where we don't even realize how much of a grip it can truly have on our own characters and perceptions.
I enjoy Dr. Carl Jung's psychology on the shadow and this image is a representation of that fascination.
