Winter Orchid
I truly love to paint flowers and their beautiful complexities. Here is a Phaelenopsis Orchid with massive white petals, so strong and so luxorious as if to show them as a peacock would spread their feathers. I added some rhinestones to the painting to give more of a realstic effect of dewdrops on the petals.
Orchids are very fragile and tempermental flowers and I have always been attracted and meserized by their beauty.
