The Watchmen
This is a painting done for a very good friend of mine. The "Watchmen" story comes from the writer: Alan Moore and the Graphic Illustrator: Dave Gibbons. I am a big fan of the graphic novel and therefore wanted to represent my passion by painting different characters from the graphic novel itself.
Different mediums were used to enhance the overall look of the painting. Phosphorescent Paint (glow-in-the-dark) was used around Dr. Manhattan ( the blue guy ), the buildings and a few choice details on the other characters.
All the characters are copyrighted to the respected creators: Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons and to Warner Bros Entertainment.
