Midnight Orchid
This painting was done for a great friend of mine. She and I are lovers of Orchids so this is a painting of herr favourite things.
Phaelenopisis ( Fill-an-op-sis ) is the family of this particular orchid and it was one of my very own that I painted.
My friend owns a white Volkswagon Bug so I added the little 'bug' on the leaf to represent her in the painting.
