The Fires of Courage from Within
The Red Fire Dragon is not technically associated with the Native Culture, but is worshipped and revered by many other cultures and is similar to the Serpent or the Snake.
Dragons are considered very ancient, wise and powerful spirits and have been perceived in many different ways throughout the centuries.
Fire is of the South direction on the Shamanic Medicine Wheel and encourages: passion, courage, wisdom etc....
The warrior prays to the fires of the south and receives a great blessing from the Great Dragon Spirit...
The faces within the rocks represent the Ancient Spirits or ( Ancestors ). This was a truly wonderful experience to paint this piece since I am a great lover of all Dragons.
