Family Bond
This piece was done for a great girlfriend of mine and her family.
The painting is a Native Indian theme with the Eagle spirit as the Aurora Borealis representing a lost but not forgotten heroine. The wolf pack in the mountain represents her family acknowledging her and connecting to her through the dreamtime.
The DreamCatcher represents protection within dreams and the four feathers represent the Four Directions of the Medicine Wheel ( North, South, East and West ).
The Overall green theme is a colour for deep healing and the mountains represent mother earth's importance as she nurtures us in our lives as free spirits. The wolf at the very top represents the heroine's husband and the white wolf symbolizes the family dog ( an eskimo doggie ).
Like most of my paintings, this one in particular was inspired.
